OUR GOALS

• Unionize all the workers or employees of the Trekking Travels Rafting Airlines and cargo sector and protect their professional rights and welfare.

• Improve the labor employees' overall condition and work for their social and economical development.

• Organize meetings, seminars and workshops with employers organization and concern authorities to minimize the labor exploitation, fixed the fair wages/salary, insurance, rescue, social securities etc and uplift workers economic and social level.

• Flash out among public mass or media of labor employees’ difficulties, discrimination and suppression done by employers.

• Build good relationship between employees and employers organization.

• Organize various training program to educate and increase the working capacities of the workers' according to their needs such as trekking/rafting training, first aid, languages, rescue, ticketing, culture, religion, flora- fauna etc.

• Advise to the government or concern authorities when they make labor or tourism policy.

• Adapt the idea like dialogue and strike with government to protect and promote the workers rights.

• Extend full-hearted solidarity of the trade union movement for workers rights and peoples' movement for nationality, democracy and national liberation in various parts of the globe.

• Create a rescue or relief fund for workers.

• Organizes the fund raising program such as cleaning campaigns into the mountain- and trekking-areas, games, cultural program and lucky draw etc. for the Union.

• Develops/build relationship with national and international trade unions and jointly work with them.

• Express strong support to the genuine demands of affiliate's trade union members.

• Operate clothing bank for porters at the popular trekking starting points (jackets, trousers, hat, gloves, socks, sunglasses, trekking boots etc), provide that to the porters and thus minimize the risk of hypothermia, sun burn, snow-blind and AMS.

• Build porters' shelter at high mountain area and popular trekking passes (base camps) to minimize the risk of porters' high altitude sickness, hypothermia, sun burn, snow-blind and give shelter for them in middle of nowhere.

• Organizes free health check-up camps for workers.
